As much as I resent the giant marketing machine reaching out to me in my state of self-proclaimed Valentines Apostasy, I have to admit that the card and the t-shirt mentioned in this article are pretty amusing.

Companies Capitalize on Anti-Valentine's Day Movement

Remember, it's not too late to send a Master & Commander Valentine to that special someone who does not have enough pink, cutout hearts, or Napoleonic bloodshed in their life.
Original context here – hours of amusement for years to come.

I'm really sorry that you're the one that's going to read this, but I have to say it. My birthday is Valentine's Day and I like that. I will admit that it's overmarketed, was created by greedy card companies, and can be generally sickening. I HATE the way that people advertise it and start marketing it THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS. It's just stupid. I like Valentine's Day for the idea behind it. To tell people that you love them, not the too-cute puppies and kittens on that ridiculously oversized box of horrible choclate, nor the evil kinky crap that people insist on referring to in the sleazy greeting cards. I guess I sound like I'm trying to convince the world of the "true meaning of Christmas", but I like Valentine's Day, even if it's only because its my birthday.
