TASTY TRAILER TREAT RECIPE!
Try it at home and share with your friends!

Ingredients:

1 766-page (870-page in non-Metric countries) YA novel
2 c mild acid
4 tbsp cinematography in the style of 'philosophical action movie.'
2 2/3 c muscles
2 shirts, tight and slightly thin
5cc adrenaline
1 very large render farm

Extract pages from book. Set in a medium-sized pot, add acid, and bring to a boil. Simmer on 'low' for six months. Strain resulting sludge through a sieve, pressing as much soppy liquid out as possible. Place remaining fibre in a mixing bowl. Add cinematography and stir well, until evenly distributed. Mix muscles and shirts in a separate bowl, then fold into the first mixture. Turn this out onto a floured surface and knead into an attractive lump. Inject 5cc adrenaline using a baker's hypodermic needle until desired sense of urgency is achieved (increase dosage if necessary). Place in preheated 360° render farm until filters and CG have a glossy sheen. Serve hot to 60 million.

I should probably say I think the movie implied by this trailer looks like it's distilled everything interesting about the book into a visually appealing bite-sized package (even though Voldie's wearing a suit) and I will probably see it.

Oh yes, I'm looking forward to it because it looks like it's going to be a good movie, and because it might even be a movie I like better than the book, though that wouldn't be hard in this case. That makes it sound like I'm not giving the filmmakers enough credit ... I mean that what I see in the trailer looks actually exciting and well-shot; I hope the acting continues its upward trend as well but it's kind of hard to tell from the quick cuts.

In retrospect I'm not terribly upset that the first films were so bad, as that has allowed me to completely disregard them and has left the books unscathed in my mind. As the series progresses, I like the books less and the movies more, so it's a perfect dance of cosmic harmony, haha.

I wish I'd seen as much of it as you ... I suppose we'll all be in for a large dose of awesome in July rather than a gradual drip-feed.

Actually, I wish I didn't get the drip-feed... it does suck a lot out of the film when you're like 'Oh, good, they fixed that jitter on the matte behind Voldemort', or 'I'm glad they went with Fog Pattern version 32a there'.

I was successfully refusing to look at the HP plates for months! But I cracked the instant the young!Snape stuff came up.. :P

Oh yeah, that flashback scene is in this one, isn't it? Hmm... I should probably draw some stuff from that before the movie comes out... You should too! :D The world needs more of your Snape scenes, you have a pleasantly original take on him.

Snape's Worst Memory is one of my favorite chapter in the whole series.
I think we would all love to have some drawings of you about it.

Aaaah, young Marauders...
