This is a piece of concept art by Andy Harkness, not a final still from the movie, though of course they're going to try to make it look like that. There seems to be some confusion: Rapunzel is not going to be 2D. It is a 3D film. A very nice 3D film, but it is 3D, not 2D. No matter how much some people may plead and moan, the directors want it 3D and they're the ones in charge.

I saw these pictures earlier in a Disney forum and I went YAAAYYY! I'm so excited about this movie, it brings new aspectos of animation that I'm dying to see, like that canvas effect they're gonna give it or something like that? I can't remember exactly.

And you're like, so near the real action! It must be so exciting! I hope you can tell us little bits of this whenever you can. Oversell this as much as you want!
