Drawing 7 - Sunshine
Mar. 4th, 2009 08:39 amI've got a couple more caricatures on the go but they aren't at a point that I can scan them yet, and today there's a big company meeting so I'm bound to get some drawings out of that, but in the meantime I'm throwing all my aces on the pile.
Another of my commissions was a scene in Sunshine by Robin McKinley. Now, I'm not much into vampires, but it was a professional obligation, and my roommate had been suggesting I read the book for a while anyway, so I did. If you want to know what my reaction was, it's here, but chances are you just want to see the picture. I oblige!

I've never been there* and really don't know much about it but I could never shake the feeling that this book was set in Winnipeg.
Incidentally 'Con' was the nickname of Robert Falcon Scott. Hee!
*my parents will be quick to point out that I have been there but I believe I was four at the time so it doesn't exactly count
