Feb. 12th, 2018 08:26 pmI used to take this test every year ... I don't know how long it's been since I did it, but was curious how things might have changed since I moved to the UK, and as I've been MBTI-ing the 1911 Shore Party it seemed only fair to turn it on myself. If it was ever scientific, it can't be entirely so now, as they've reformatted it in a way that might subconsciously push your answer in a slightly different direction than the previous format, and I'm pretty sure there were 72 questions before. But it's as close as I'll get to consistency, so with a substantial margin or error in mind:
INTJ
Introvert(78%) iNtuitive(53%) Thinking(62%) Judging(66%)
You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (78%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (53%)
You have distinct preference of Thinking over Feeling (62%)
You have distinct preference of Judging over Perceiving (66%)
Turns out I'm no longer 100% introverted! Heavens to Betsy! Still quite definitively up the INTJ rabbit hole, but possibly moving slightly into the more healthy central cloud ...

Date: 2018-02-14 09:22 am (UTC)I think the provocative and vague natures of some of the questions is deliberate ... psychologists are sneaky that way. If my memory can be trusted, the slightly longer version of the test had a few questions that were near duplicates, but asking them twice in slightly different ways might winnow away at the subtleties of a person's mindset.
INFJs are supposed to be one of the rarest types, but I seem to have a large number of them in my circle – either the test is somehow stacked in that direction, or I'm just lucky, I don't know!
