(though I do have a snow-eating compulsion.) (and am persnickety about meter.)

Well, I think it works well as a poem anyway. It's a nice reminder of my snow-eating escapades in childhood, before my mom got all worried about air pollution and hollered at us to not eat the snow (which, of course, we did anyway). ;)
