I work in an animation studio – on a 2D project, no less – and have not drawn all day.
Wait a minute ... how does this work, again?
10:30 pm
ARGH! THEY TOTALLY MOVED UP THE US RELEASE DATE FOR THUD! I TEAR MYSELF APART IN FRUSTRATED ENVY! Three days was OK, but three WEEKS?!

Date: 2005-09-10 06:56 am (UTC)I'm not doing the actual animtion – did you think it was a feature? Hah! Goodness no! No, just a TV show. 2D is still cheaper than Flash, I think*, so long as you get it done at a really cheap overseas studio.
*I THINK. I have nothing to back me up on this besides the cheaper shows on TV being traditional, still.

Date: 2005-09-10 12:09 pm (UTC)I was wondering, because the studio I work at uses Flash for traditional 2D animation. (And the bulk of the animation is done in house, which is nice!) Everything is done directly in Flash, except for the rough layouts.
