The Truth Shall Make Ye Draw
Sep. 19th, 2005 12:41 pmI would like to express my admiration for the theraputic effects of a well-crafted story arc, especially combined with the marvellously cinematic prose of the Amazing Mr Pratchett. While this hasn't quite perked up my drawing skills, it has made me want to draw, which is 5/8 of the battle.

Otto returns to the Times HQ only to find it ... quite changed. (pg 272, UK, if you're interested)
And a sketch for a drawing of Sacharissa which I would like to work out a bit more, maybe going for a more dramatic angle and, of course, doing some reasearch into firearms and how they are held because, frankly, this is pathetic:

Date: 2005-09-19 11:25 pm (UTC)I think that your Otto is really good, myself. He's a character that keeps changing in my head, and usually Paul Kidby's work cements an image, but I don't like his Otto...he looks too insane. Yours is much closer to how I picture him.
And Sacharissa's expression is fantastic!
