Finished.

I am now thoroughly Thud!ified.

Evidently, the secret to peace in the Middle East is board games. (are board games?)

Carrot on a Mission

Carrot goes in search of Angua, in The Fifth Elephant. I know absolutely nothing about horse riding and that's why the pictuer is cropped where it is. Gaspode is too darn cute and clean-looking. And I wish I'd had my previous drawing of Carrot for reference because he just doesn't look right here.
CoinConina

Coin the Sourcerer and Conina, barbarian hairdresser, from Sourcery. Coin looks like Blakeney because ... well, he does. Conina I need to colour for the full effect. No, there are no blood splatters, but she's striking in a colourful way. (Figuratively.)

If these pictures are really huge, please notify me in some way ... my monitor is set to a really high resolution and it's hard to judge what size they are on a normal screen.

It is The Duck Man!
That's not my daddy!

I think I am getting carried away. It sure was funny at half-past midnight...

Also, I looked up part of Where's My Cow? while at a bookstore and committed a passage to memory just for you:

Where's my daddy?
Is this my daddy?
It goes 'Don't let me detain you.'
It is the Patrician! He rules the city!
Really don't let him detain you!
That's not my daddy!

. . . at least I hope that's right. :D

xD Are you planning on reading the book?

(In the picture, Vetinari looks a little like a wet rat, but Pterry's writing really makes up for it.)

Oh yes ... it just hasn't been released up here yet (to the best of my knowledge) and I plan on just leafing through it at a bookstore or something If it were illustrated by Paul Kidby I'd buy it, or if its rereading potential turns out to be exceptionally high...

The illustrator really isn't as good as Paul Kidby; the coloring itself looks funny too. But it's pretty charming. Leafing is recommended!

I'm not sure about its rereading potential— reading Thud! is probably a better way to get the full impact of Where's My Cow?.

Only Terry Pratchett could make five ridiculous-sounding words with dubious punctuation strung into a even more ridiculous-sounding phrase give you chills.

(I cried a tiny bit.)
